- Rajat Patidar came into the limelight when he scored an unbeaten 112 off 54 balls for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the eliminator of IPL 2022.

- Patidar was first signed by RCB ahead of IPL 2021. He played only four games that season and was subsequently released.
